A new daily word arrives at midnight in your local time zone. Players on the same calendar date get the same daily puzzle. An open game keeps its original date so midnight does not change it halfway through.

Each occurrence in the answer can colour only one tile. Correct positions turn green first, then remaining matching letters turn yellow. An extra copy turns grey if no matching occurrence remains.
